Information
Want Harvest Bible Chapel news updates sent to your Inbox?
Sign up for Harvest’s RSS feeds.
What is RSS? Why use it?
RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing Web content, like
Harvest's news articles and videos
, directly to your e-mail Inbox or reader program. RSS retrieves news articles, blog entries, and other content as soon as they are added to HarvestBibleChapel.org and your other favorite Web sites and sends them to you, saving you from visiting each site individually.
How to I add RSS feeds?
To track your RSS subscriptions, you can you can add subscriptions to your e-mail browser (Outlook, Mail, Yahoo Mail) or use a program like Google Reader.
When adding subscriptions,
click on the RSS icon
on your favorite Web sites’ news and blog pages and follow these directions:
Adding RSS to your mail browser (most e-mail browsers use a similar process)
Copy the URL that appears in the address bar of the RSS feed page.
Open your mail browser. In Mail, navigate to
File-->Add RSS Feeds…
Paste the URL into the Add RSS Feeds box.
Your RSS feed will now update whenever new content is added and will display the added content in your Inbox.
Adding RSS to a reader program (most readers use a similar process)
Copy the URL that appears in the address bar of the RSS feed page.
Open your reader program. In Google Reader, click on the
Add a Subscription
button.
Paste the URL into the
Add a Subscription
box.
Your RSS feed will now update whenever new content is added and will display the added content in your Inbox.
If you have a program or mail browser other than the ones shown above, subscribing to RSS feeds should be just as easy. To add your RSS feed to Outlook,
see this page
. To add your RSS to Yahoo Mail,
check out this site
.
