December 6, 2024 | Elder Update

Dear Harvest Family,

This past week we had our final elder meeting of 2024.  We are so thankful for how the Lord has provided for His church. Let’s finish the year strong as we look forward to all God has for Harvest in 2025.

Christmas is a season of giving. We, as Elders, want to invite you to be a blessing and encouragement to the staff of Harvest Bible Chapel and Harvest Christian Academy. You’re invited to purchase gift cards that will be used as Christmas gifts for the church and school staff and given to them at their Christmas all-staff meeting later this month. Here are the details.

  • Consider getting a gift card for $50 or partnering with another person or family and buying 2 $25 gift cards; be creative! You can get 2 $50 gift cards, but not a $100 gift card. The goal is to give each staff member $50 worth of gift cards.
  • Gift cards are not to be designated to a specific staff person or campus
  • Gift cards are not a charitable donation, as they are not going to the church or school, but to an individual
  • Gift cards can be received in the lobby of each campus this weekend, December 7–8 before and after every weekend gathering.
  • Gift cards can be for anything you think would bless a staff person: restaurants, stores, entertainment, gasoline, etc.

If you have questions, feel free to reach out to an elder. The opportunity to bring these gift cards is this weekend and next, December 7–8 and December 14–15. Thanks for whatever you can do to be a blessing to the staff.

We invite you to review the agenda below from this past meeting and as always feel free to reach out with any questions.
