Harvest Kids

FIRST DECADE MINISTRY

Harvest Bible Chapel is committed to your child’s first decade of life through the ministry of Harvest Kids. We believe a healthy child grows into a healthy adult.

Campus Contacts:

GUEST VISIT

At our check-in counter, we meet first-time guests. Here we will connect you with our ministry and explain our safety and security policies.

REGISTRATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION

Most of our ministry opportunities are pre-registrationbased.

SAFETY

We think and care a lot about safety. When kids are safe, they can relax and learn, and so can their parents!   We implement the strictest precautions that provide you with the highest confidence. All volunteers are screened through an interview and a federal background check. Every child in our care is accounted for with our check-in and check-out system.

If you would like to serve in Harvest Kids, please reach out to [email protected]

BEST WEEKENDS

During weekend ministry, we give children their own church experience using relevant methods taught with a balance of biblical content and application, reverent but fun, obedience-driven but with a true heart change.

We strive to captivate the hearts and imaginations of kids by creatively telling the stories of the greatest book ever written…the Bible.  Using discussions, activities, and crafts, we help kids connect and apply God’s Word to their lives.

Classroom environments, materials, and activities have been designed to increase a child’s understanding of theology and a biblical worldview.  Our desire is to make God’s Word accessible to each age group.

Children love fun, and when they’re having fun, they can’t wait to come back!

 CHECK-IN

Our weekly check-in process is simple and user-friendly.  Each time you check-in, a random security code will be generated and will appear on both your child’s name tag and your parent receipt.  Your child will wear the name tag portion and you’ll keep the parent receipt for pick up.  If we need you to care for your child during ministry, you will receive a text.

SPECIAL NEEDS

We believe that each child matters.  Since not all children are able to learn in a traditional setting, we would love the opportunity to learn how we can partner with you and your child to help connect them with God’s Word.

Our Rolling Meadows Campus serves our families by offering In His Image for adults with developmental disabilities. Please contact your Harvest Kids team by filling out the form below to begin the conversation.

BEYOND THE WEEKEND

MIDWEEK MINISTRY

Awana (available at our Rolling Meadows, Elgin, and Crystal Lake Campuses only)
Through mid-week ministry, God is changing children through the power of His Word. Children engage in worship, teaching, games, and memorizing scripture alongside their Harvest Kids community.

American Heritage Girls and Trail Life USA (available at our Elgin Campus only)

  • American Heritage Girls (AHG)  is a gospel-centered discipleship program for girls. We explore the outdoors together, serve our local community, and encourage each other to fix our eyes on Jesus.
  • Trail Life USA partners with churches and parents across America as the premier national character development organization for young men which produces the next generation of godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens.

For more information email [email protected] or[email protected].

Midweek Mania (available on our Aurora Campus only) This is Aurora’s Harvest Kids’ midweek discipleship opportunity committed to helping parents disciple their children during the first ten years. Children participate in theme nights, games, worship, and small groups to grow in community with one another while growing in spiritual disciplines. Throughout the year they work through materials to memorize God’s Word, explore the Bible, and complete memorable activities.
