(nothing with batteries, they can get too expensive)
Students ages K-8 also need (gently used) coats, scarves, mittens/gloves, hats, snow pants, and boots
We are also collecting non-used toiletry items, lotions, perfumes, soaps, candles, for the Red Cloud Students to give to their families.
Their teacher asked them what they would buy if they had a million dollars, and their answers ranged from investing it for the future to buying their grandma’s a home, or buying their parents’ a home, helping the homeless, buying things for their pets, or helping all the strays on the reservation. She was really impressed that most of the kids didn’t think of things for themselves but for things for their whole family or for their friends.
The basketball team needs shoes too.
There is just so much that could help the kids at the school.
